Privacy Policy

The short version
This site doesn't ask you to sign up, log in, or hand over any personal information. I use industry-standard analytics tools to see roughly how many people visit and what pages they read. That's it. I don't sell your data, I don't run ads, and I don't have a customer database.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this site, my hosting provider and the analytics tools below automatically receive standard technical information that your browser sends with every request, including:
- Your IP address (often truncated or anonymized by the analytics tools)
- Your browser type, language, and operating system
- The page you visited and the page you came from (the "referrer")
- The date and time of your visit
- How far you scrolled on a page and how long you stayed
Third-party tools
I use industry-standard analytics and advertising-measurement tools to understand traffic patterns and how people find the site. These tools may set cookies in your browser and receive standard information about your visit (the kind described in the section above). Each of these providers has its own privacy practices and its own opt-out mechanisms, which you can find in their published privacy policies.
The site is also hosted on a standard cloud hosting and content-delivery provider, which may log request information for security and performance purposes.
Cookies
The third-party tools above set cookies in your browser. I do not set any first-party cookies of my own. You can clear, block, or limit cookies through your browser settings at any time. Blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to read anything on this site.
Information you give me directly
If you email me at contact@morganandmorganreviews.com, I'll have your email address and whatever you wrote. I use that only to respond to you. I don't add you to any list and I don't share your email with anyone.
How I use the information
I use the aggregate analytics data to understand what topics people are interested in, fix broken pages, and improve the writing. I do not attempt to identify individual visitors, and I do not sell, rent, or trade any data with anyone.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU/UK under GDPR, or California under CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. I don't sell or share data, but if you'd like to make any of these requests, email me at contact@morganandmorganreviews.com.
Most browsers also send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. I do not currently respond to these signals automatically, but you can always block analytics through your browser or an extension.
Children
This site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please email me and I'll delete it.
Data retention and security
Analytics data is retained according to the default settings of the tools above (typically 14 to 26 months). Emails you send me are kept as long as I need them to respond and then deleted. I take reasonable precautions to protect any information I hold, but no internet service is 100% secure.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here; continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
